Introduction To Fly Fishing - Half Day Guided Trip

Come join Meadowbrook dad, Taylor Vavra, for a half day guided trip to learn the fundamentals of Fly Fishing!  This class will include:

• We will cover all necessary equipment, casting, knots, fly selection, hook setting, fish fighting and landing. This would all take place on a half day guided wading trip, either saltwater (striped bass/bluefish) or freshwater (trout, largemouth/smallmouth bass).
• All equipment needed will be provided for use during the class. (Rod, reel, flies, waders, etc)
  
• The guided trip would be located on the Connecticut coast fishing in Long Island Sound for saltwater species or locally in Westchester for freshwater species.
• This class would be limited to 1 person.
• Date upon mutual agreement

Note from Taylor: I have been involved in fisheries conservation for over 15 years but began fishing at a very young age. I am currently President of Stripers Forever, a non-profit 501c3 conservation organization, advocating for the conservation and responsible stewardship of wild striped bass along the Atlantic Coast. Fly fishing quickly became a passion and I have fished all over the world; Alaska, Costa Rica, Canada, Bahamas, Iceland, Spain and many other locations here in the USA.
